Island Cove, Batch Outing.. Here We Come!

Today was another fun-filled day-- we just had our batch outing in Island Cove, Cavite. Oh yeah, baby. Summer. :P

Anyway, we were supposed to leave at 6am but sadly, the buses (there were 4 of them, and I belong to the last one :P) weren't moving until it ticked 7. Yeah, we were late. So late. As usual, we started out with a prayer. We prayed the whoooooole rosary. :P Sweet. And since we didn't leave on time, we experienced traffic. I mean it-- traffic. It took us about 3 hours to reach Cavite. Uh, the trip was dreadful.. it was so long but it was also great to be with my friends for the last time this school year. *pouts* I guess we were the bus which contained the least number of people, Pauline was even jumping from seat to seat. Yeah, that's how crazy we can all get. So weird.

When we reached our destination, it was some time past 10. Wow. It was hot. The sun was slowly burning my skin. I swear. You can just feel the heat on your face.

I was actually not allowed to swim due to the time schedule. My parents weren't really favorable of me swimming some time before, during and after lunch. They said it would be so harmful for my skin and probably, before I reach the beach I'm already burned. I guess they were right. Good thing I was obedient that day. *sticks out tongue*

First thing we (Maeca and I) did was change into sports attire since we brought our badminton rackets with us. Afterwards, we proceeded on to looking for that badminton court. We inquired from an unknown staff (I don't know if he was a life guard :P)and he said that it was near-slash-next to the beach volleyball. Darn. Play badminton in sand?? No way. No, no way. So, we asked for another venue and he told us that we could play in the Cavite Hall. Unsurprisingly, we are newbies in this resort so we didn't know where the heck Cavite Hall was. We walked and walked and walked and reached somewhere where there's really high ceiling and it was more like a gym used for programs. We decided to settle there for a while and play and we were really shocked to see that WE WERE IN THE CAVITE HALL. Stupid. Should have read the signs. Hahaha!

I didn't really do anything other than hang out with Hannah, Erika, Angela and Maeca, play billards and badminton, watch Stacey play bowling and roam around and around. Hahaha. I was tempted to jump in the pool since it was really so hot. No matter where you go, the heat seems to take over your whole body. Hahaha. No, I'm not kidding. :P

Well, one thing I could really ensure you guys is that we took a loooooooooot of pictures. Oh yeah. Bad news, I'll be posting it some other time. Can't do it now though. :P Haha.

I'll be leaving for Bicol reaaaaaaaaaal soooooooon. I won't be able to attend the Report Card Day. Phff. Sorry 7-4. As much as I've wanted to come, I couldn't. I'll be stuck in Bicol for 5 days. 5 hot summer days. *sighs* I'm not really that excited, but let's just see.. you never know.. :P
