Take me Back to Cebu

Obviously, I just got home late last night from Cebu (as what was stated in my previous post). What can I say?

...

it was SUPER!

So, while my mind's still fresh, let's narrate this now. :)

Monday. We left early morning, around 4am and proceeded to the airport. I was so excited because we'll be riding a plane. You should know by now how crazy I am when it comes to planes. In fact, (as stated in my wishlist) I would like to be an aviatrix/pilot in the future. We arrived quite early though because, as usual, Dad was the one driving (even though we had a driver with us). ANYWAY. We checked-in and Dad requested for two window-side seats for my younger sisters. Then, we got our tickets.. all we had to do was wait. Wait for quite a while. :P We had breakfast somewhere in the airport :) Afterwards, we sat and patiently waited for our flight to flash boarding on the screen. :)

Our flight was exciting, specially the take-off and landing part :) Approximately, it took us about an hour to reach Mactan Cebu International Airport. Mang Neo was our driver-slash-tour guide for the day, as he drives us to the port. He kept on giving quite a number of informations about the places we pass by. But I just slept all throughout the 2-hour trip from the airport to the port/dock. Was just too tired to listen :)

We still had to take a 1-hour boat ride in order to reach Bantayan Island. Quite a looooooong trip, uh? We took the 12:30 trip and got our butts on the first class section of Island Boat. First class wasn't really the first-class-airplane-type but it was good enough since it was airconditioned and we had a movie to keep us up during the whole boat ride.

From the port, we were picked up by Manong Jimmy and was welcomed by his all-time-famous-vehicle, the tricycle. Oh no, don't get me wrong here. Their tricycle is waaaaay better than ours. No offense, though. They have until second row, so it's perfect for 6 people, including the driver. And for me, it was a great escape from city life and a magnificent exposure to provincial life. Honestly, there weren't much cars in Sta. Fe, Bantayan. Most of the time, you'll just see a tricycle, their own version of jeepneys and pedicabs. Yup. No modern-technology-made-up-of-expensive-materials type of car in Bantayan. Atleast, in where we stayed in. :) It was TOTALLY provincial life there.

Well, we checked in Ogtong Cave, a beach resort which has a cave where you could swim.. with fishes. =)) It is a CLASS "A" beach resort, has a great view of the beach and an excellent landscape. It was fun. There were a lot of activities and the food was cheap and delicious. So, it was a good choice. Actually, I instantly fell in love with their Chicken Sandwhich which tasted like heaven. :P Veggies-- I just love 'em.

Tuesday. We headed to the market for pasalubongs. FRESH. :) Now, this is the real provincial life. It took us about 20-25 mins. Again, with the all-time famous tricycle of Manong Jimmy. Of course, I wasn't used to market-smelling places and the market itself, but I tried my best to just keep my mouth shut and keep breathing as if the smell's nothing. It was hard, honestly. But I got over it after a while.

Then, we had lunch in Jela's. Also in the marketplace. Honestly, the food's great. It's cheap too. But yeah, it was just like the regular lutong bahay style.

We stayed for two nights in Ogtong Cave. We used their kayak and bike boat which was soooooo fun. My sisters did their usual thing-- collect shells.

Actually, Ogtong Cave kind of resembles Bohol Beach Club. :P It was great staying there.

Wednesday was bye-bye Bantayan day. We bid goodbye to Manong Jimmy and his tricycle :) And took the Fast Craft which is, obviously, a fast boat. Took us only 45 mins to reach the port.
From there, we were picked up by Manong Teddy, this time. And, he drove us off to Plantation Bay. Actually, we dropped by Alegre Beach. Ahh.. it was so nice too. We had formal lunch there. Yeah. Formal :) We didn't stay that long though since we still had an hour and 30 minutes trip to Plantation Bay.

When we reached our destination.. it felt like heaven. Plantation Bay is love. I mean, if you were just there, ahhhh. :) But the thing about it is that it's just too expensive. A night's stay is about 12 thousand. I know.. too expensive, but really, if you were there, you'll love the place. It's simply, breath-taking. :) They even got a tram to tour the 8-hectar Plantation Bay.

Well, we swam during the first day. All swimming and eating. Food's great, again.. but it's just expensive.

ANYWAY.

Thursday. We went biking. :) About 2 hours. It was fun. Played in the gameroom. Went online for a short while :) Then, got back to NILE-19 to rest. Stayed until 4. Then, was picked up by Dad's friend and went to SM Cebu. DIDN'T do shopping this time. :) Self-control. :P

We ate at some thai restaurant and then, proceeded to the airport. HONESTLY, we were late when we arrived. It was 730 already and our flight was at 830. One hour to go. Ahhhh. We had to rush. But obviously, we were able to catch up. :) good thing.

Oh yeah, I've got some photos. :P (NOT ARRANGED THOUGH)

Bantayan Island.. HERE I COME

Well, we just did our last-minute packing and preparation for tomorrow's adventure. I'm so excited. We'll be leaving real early since our flight is in the morning. Daddy didn't allow me to bring my cellphone though. Well, he didn't really; he just warned us that there's great possibility of it getting lost. So, I guess I won't be bringing mine. :) But, I'm planning to soothe myself with the songs that I love during the trip. So, probably, I'll be bringing with me my iPod-- just to keep me up.

Ahhh. I can't wait. We're just hours away.. hours away. Yeah, baby!

ANYWAY. I'm so restless. I don't even know if I could close my eyes later tonight. I just feel that this trip would be a great one. I've never been to any of beaches in Cebu so I'm kindalooking forward to the trip. Ah. So long fellow bloggers. So long blog world. Be back Thursday, though:) Nighttime. Ta-ta.

Holy Porsche

You guys know that line? :) I want to watch the movie, though I know it's too cartoon-y for a teenager like me. But I don't know, it might just be fun. I find it cute. Honestly.

HOLY PORSCHE..

I just finished packing for our trip to Cebu. I happily cut out the tags of the clothes I'm going to wear. :) ATLAST. This time, it was me who packed for myself. FREEDOM, uh?

This morning I had a trip to a new dentist. Mom wanted to get braces for me. Actually, I never intended to do so due to the unexpected pulling out of teeth. I mean, I couldn't survive that. I wouldn't allow anyone to grab any of my pretty teeth. :) GET YOUR OWN. Haha. Just kidding. ANYWAY. Atleast, for now, I wouldn't allow that to happen. Not until I still take control of my teeth. Haha. :)

(Oh yeah, the dentist complimented me for my nice teeth. Yeah, I'm not kidding. Good thing Mom's really strict about brushing. I never thought I had nice teeth. Really.)

So, we had our music sessions late in the afternoon. Voice and Piano. The regular thing. :)

Er, I've got nothing to blog lately. Haha. :) Maybe, just one thing: I'm so excited. Yeah, our trip to CEBU. Can't wait.

Sometimes, You Just Have to Look Closer

For all the years I've been living, I thought I knew myself-- my strengths, my weaknesses, my potentials, etc. But sadly, as to how it all turns out, I'm just a crazy little girl in this humugous, messy world, dying to find her inner self and make it shine.

Well, if you've noticed, the previous posts are all results of severe boredom-- except for some which were about special occassions. ANYWAY. Now, I've got something to share about. I think. Well, atleast now I've got myself enrolled. Enrolled? Yeah. In what? ...singing. No kidding? Yeah, no kidding.

Ha. Atleast after some time of thinking if I really have this friggin frog voice or not, I then found out that I have the voice (for singing). Quite unexpected, uh? Honestly, I never thought my teacher would compliment me about it. Because, right from the very start, we all knew that Tania was the one who had the singing voice. I mean, hers is like Mariah's. Husky. Yeah, husky. So, basically, singing wasn't really my thing. Not until today, I mean. Shocking, isn't it?

In addition to that, I also took Piano Lessons again. My teacher tried to refresh my memory. Unfortunately, I couldn't remember anything except the note: Middle C. But really, I'm still up to learning it again. I was reintroduced to the keyboard a while ago. Fun, isn't it?

It lasted for two hours-- 45 mins for voice lessons then an hour and 15 mins for piano. Piano's great. But I'm not giving up guitar, still. Though, it has to wait until I find a guitar teacher again. LOL. I mean, I know how to play but Mom wants me to learn plucking and she promised, that afterwards, I can switch to electric guitar and/or drums. With the condition that I really master plucking already. Phew. Long way to go still, uh?

Actually, I was giggling while vocalizing. Swear. And during the breathing part, I was a complete mess. :) Can't help laughing though.

Up to now, I couldn't even imagine what I'll turn out to be, a pianist and/or a singer. Phew. Singer? Naaaah. Don't think so. A pianist would be better. But it'd be best if I would be a racer (which I really, really wish for :P)

Girl in an Ordinary World

So, April's almost over, uh? And, that means, our trip to Cebu is a week away. Oh yeah. I don't really know why I couldn't get this friggin beach trip off my head. One thing, I guess, would be the reason that we're hitting a beach. And I'm just so.. excited. Yeah. Excited.

Well, I guess my summer activities would start very late. Some time May, I think. What I've actually wanted was to learn soccer. So, obviously enrolling myself into a soccer course would be on the very top of my list (this comes with new sports attire, and the shoes.. Yeah, the shoes! I just find their shoes cute. That's why. :P). Then, I aslo asked Mom if I could learn a new language. Actually, I've wanted that 2 years ago but I hadn't really thought too much about it. But now, I'm sure. I mean, learning a new language would be fun. The only thing is, no one talks a different language at home. We have the usual: english, filipino, bisaya. Nothing more. That's the funny thing though. What`cha think?

I've also thought about Scuba Diving Lessons. I mean, I love swimming and going to the beach. Snorkling and all. Probably, it's time that I get to know more about the underwater world. And more or less, overcome my fear of sharks (which I'm not ready to face yet :P). But anyway, I think Scuba Diving will be fun. Yeah. I hope it will.

Anyway, I'll be posting a couple of pictures (just to add color to my blog :P). They were taken in Hardrock Cafe in Glorietta during my Mom's birthday. April 10.

Little Devil Missing Summer Spirit

Like what I usually say: dont mind the title

Well, well, what can I say? I love summer but summer DOESN'T love me back. It's always a trip to the mall with my family or just the regular bummer I am at home. Nothing else. A freak, that's what I am. Ugh. Hope it's the 24rth. I'm eager to see Cebu (although I've been there already, but only in the city). This time, I'm hitting an isolated island, very far from the busy streets, I suppose. Yeah. Some rest. Some relaxation. Ah, I can't wait to get into my swimwear and have a dip in the cold beach water. Cebu.

As of now, I can do nothing but dream. Dream about the beach and fun I will be encountering during my trip in Cebu (which I think and hope to be successful). Don't care if I'll gain any weight during my 3-day stay there. I mean, c'mon, let's make the most of it. Fruit shakes, slush, ice cream. Yum. My tummy's grumbling. Eek.

ANYWAY. `nough of that. The thought of Cebu just makes me crave more for it. So, let's just be patient and wait. Yes, wait.

I can clearly say that I am an unproductive person. Not kidding. I don't do chores, I'm so lazy, I like my room clean but don't know how to keep it clean that long (specially my closet). Shet. I'm so lazy this summer. I want so many things but I couldn't keep up with it. Andali kong magsawa. My 7370's like nothing to me but a regular phone. Well, that is since I saw Nokia 3250. Ugh. Enticing. :)

Must love 7370.. Must love 7370.. Must love 7370. :)

Yesterday, I was out. With my family (duh). Celebrated Easter but didn't go Egg Hunting. We were in Shang-- bonding. We ate very late lunch (3pm) at Sumo Sam (which by the way, reminds me of my chubby niece, Sam :P Suhree. Can't help it. =p But you know, atleast something reminds me of her. :) Luv you, Sam.. although you can't read yet :P). Food was great. Japanese. Then, we proceeded on to WINDOW SHOPPING. Yeah. So, I guess I'm not a shopaholic anymore. Yeah, baby. But, I was tempted to raid Powerbooks. I'm onto Classic Books now. I got quite a number, though. Well, that's good. If I'm not shopping for clothes, I'll be shopping for books. :P LOL. I'm still spending too much though. Ugh. I'm want too many things. Why can't I be contented? Eek. :)

Oh yeah, I also watched Eight Below. Fun. Emotional. Nakakaawa yung dogs. I didn't cry though. But the movie's touching. Overall, it's nice. Sweet.

p.s. Kumon tomorrow. Kumon torture. Grrrrr! :) Just Kidding.

Adventure in the.. Mountains?

(This blogging thing's bugging me again. I made a long post, and poof.. it shut off. Ergh. Friggin thing. ANYWAY.)

My holy week was spent in the woods with my family. Complete, this time. :) With Kuya and her wife and Sam. My cousins also dropped by last Thursday.

It was fun.. if my period wasn't there to spoil it all. Ergh. But atleast I wouldn't have to worry about anything when we go to Cebu (which is two weeks from now. OH YEAH).

Food was there attacking me again. More on junk and chocolates, as usual. Dad was begging Mom to buy nothing but healthy food for us-- fruits, veggies, and all that. Ew. Just can't imagine living life without those mouth-watering junkies and trash. :) It's fun munching on them. HONESTLY. But I don't know, since I want to lose weight and be thinner (specially this summer :P) I guess I'm on Dad's side this time. Maybe, I shouldn't go with Mom to groceries anymore. I'd be tempted more, if so.

To keep my spirits up, I got loaded by "ancient," pirated DVD's. Well, not really that old, but you know, just.. not updated. Yeah, that's it. NOT UPDATED. :) But it was fun doing track backs of old movies.

DAY 1:A Walk to Remember, Maid in Manhattan
DAY 2:Mr. Bean (the MOVIE), The Dark, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, Rumor Has It
DAY 3: Final Destination 2

Yeah. I did that movie marathon thing, as they say. Atleast, it perfectly shoo-ed boredom away. YEY!

p.s.
Pictures are in my phone. You want to see? :P Eeeeeek.

Shopping's Rushed Customers

Don't mind the title. Can't really think of any. :P But really, we were rushed since we left late and we had to go to three malls and one grocery store all in 8 hours. Whew. Survived it.

Anyway, I was happy to able to go somewhere since I was pretty bored yesterday. Mom tagged me along her little journey through malls today and I got quite a lot of summer outfits. Thanks, mom (although I know you don't read this, because I don't tell you about it:P).

Glorietta was really the place to be. Hahaha. Mom was dying to get swimsuits in U at Rustan's. So, we went to the said mall since there were a lot available, according to her. It was fun although I kind of got bored inside the dressing room since she tried atleast 6 swimsuits (all two-piece.. :P hahaha!) and I was only sitting in one corner, judging if it looks good on her. Trust me, I tried to reject some.. but mom doesn't trust my instincts. So she still went on buying half of the swimwear she tried, plus the havaianas I forced her to get for me. Juuuuuust kidding. But yeah, I got a new pair of havaianas. :P

Afterwards, we dropped by a store. Mom forced me to get new pair of clothes. I didn't miss that opportunity though. :P It's rare that she gives me an opportunity to choose my clothes. Most of the time, she's the one who dresses me up and believe me, packs clothes for most of our trips. LOL. Because she accuses me of not wearing the clothes she buys (i.e. skirts, backless, and all those other girly stuffs) <==Like how am I going to wear those. But I guess skirts are okay. :P

Then, we just grabbed something to munch on at this sandwich-selling cafe. Just forgot the name. Hahaha. After getting a grip of our doggy bag (we had a 'to-go' order), we went straight to the parking lot. Mom was kind of dragging me already because she was walking reeeeeal fast and I was stuck with the crowd still. Eek. Brisk walking, that's it. :)

We reached the parking lot and I gave a loud sigh. I guess I lost quite a few pounds walking from the top to the bottom of the mall. Hopefuuuuully. :) I'm trying to cut my intake of fats. Mom's really losing fats like hell and I'm stuck with my drum-like belly. Eek. It doesn't look good if your mom's sexier than you, does it? LOL. As if I could get as thin as I want to be, I can't even control my appetite when it comes to sweeeeeets :) Yikes.

Wait, back to the Rushed-Shopping Episode 1 :) We ate late lunch in the car. It was about 2 then and we still had to rush to Podium. So Mom was driving like hell. :)

When we got to Podium, Mom just decided to have vallet parking since it's easier that way. Then we went up to the 5th floor to get to Globe and have Mom's phone fixed. Did a little shopping, afterwards. Got another shirt. This time from People are People. And also got some for Dad.

We didn't stay long though. We still had to go to Galleria to get the pictures in Kameraworld. Reached Galle and it wasn't only pictures we got but another set of shopped items :) We went to top shop and mom got another pair of bathing suit. Two-piece. Again. It's nothing really new. She prefers it than one piece swimsuits. Kinda hot momma huh? LOL. Then I also grabbed a shirt which was watermelon-red. Sweeet. Been longing to have a shirt with that color:) LUveeeet.

*sigh*

Do I still need to narrate the grocery part? Naaaah. Don't think so. :)

Summary? It was tiring. Shopping was fun. Mom was generous. We spent quite a lot. Had a lot of new summer clothes. Ate too much. Lost fat. Grocery tempted me to get junk. I was easily tempted though. Stupid. :P Blah, blah, blah. :)

So Lazy to Blog

My title explains it all. No need to emphasize, I think. Let's just be frank. I'm bored with my own plain crap. Not kidding. I'm stuck at home with nothing to do. Ergh.

So, yeah, I got my phone and my mom's too. But hers isn't the W800i anymore. I think it's the 6680. Wait, what do you guys care anyway? Haha. My life is boring now. Can't you see? I have simply NOTHING to blab about. Not until the end of April. Hopefully, I'll find adventure to our trip in Cebu. Excited? Sorta. Atleast, I'll get to go to somewhere; not just stuck at home.

Recently, I got The Sims 2: Open for Business. And that's the only thing that keeps me up. I'm so addicted. That's all I can say. :P

Summer's been bad for me lately. It's all iPod, Tv, eat, sleep, eat, computer. That same old pattern goes on and on day by day. Boriiiiiing. I know.

Stop! Report Card Ko `Yan.

Well, since my parents weren't able to attend the Report Card Day last Saturday, it was my brother who got our cards instead. O__O Anyway, I got a grip of my card yesterday and I got it from my grandma's since my brother dropped it there. I hadn't the gutts to see my grades until this morning when I started peeping through the brown envelope containing all sorts of stuffs. First, I looked at the picture. Ugh. It was awful. I barely liked the shots. :P Then, I went through my sister's card and results of some kind of intellectual test (it was also placed inside the brown envelope). I scanned her grades and I guess it was okay. Afterwards, I put my hand inside the brown envelope and tried to grab on that piece of hard paper. Slowly, I opened it and looked at my grades. They're are simply.. horrible. Gaaaaad.

Okay. Maybe I deserve it. I didn't really study that much for the 4rth Quarterly Tests. But I can't help it. I was in the hospital the whole time and my mom wouldn't even allow the driver to bring me my reviewer so that when I get back, I could take the tests fully prepared. Good thing I was able to go home on a Friday and so, I still had the weekend to scan and browse and perhaps, study. Sadly, the weekend wasn't enough for all the tests I had to take. I mean, besides the Quarterly Tests, I still had 2 quizzes, a graded Science seatwork and a Math UT2 to accomplish. So much for that viral infection. Ugh.

My grades are fine.. I think. A lot went down though, even Math. I'll give a rundown but I won't emphasize :P Suhree.

CLE- I looooooove it. Haha. I love my grade :) I was actually in the verge of thinking that I would have 80+ in CLE, but I didn't. Oh yeah, baby! Good thing Sir Ruel doesn't really base in on our grades. :P

Reading- went down.. so went down. :( Although, I still got 94 as an average. *claps*

Language- remained the same. Eek. Not any good at all. But it's one point higher than Reading. Atleast.. :)

Science- decreeeeeaaaased. Argh. But average was okay. So okay. :)

Math- ahhhhhh! one point na lang eh, hindi pa pinagbigyan. Hahaha. X__X The average was the best. Yeah, baby! :P

AP- Higher by one point than last quarter. Average same as reading.

Filipino- Each quarter my grade moves up by one point. :) Luveeet. 90-91-92-93. Ave: 92. Funny. :P

Well, let's not talk about the Non-Academics. I did pretty good, anyway. But not in HELE. Argh. Sewing. Phff. Ergh.

I might be getting my 7370 tomorrow. Oh yeah! *dances in a crazy way* And mom's getting her W800i. I think :P Yeah, yeah, yeah!

Bicol Adventureeeee

So, I've officially started my summer vacation the day after our batch outing. Actually, I didn't really feel like tagging along but due to future boredom and nothing to do at home, I decided to join. I wasn't expecting it to be such an adventure. I mean, along with the trip and beach fun were mishaps and misfortunes. No, I'm totally not kidding. It fun, really. I got to experience the things I never really imagined I could try like pushing a van in the middle of a muddy track. Whew.

Just let me give a rundown of all our activities in Bicol. I wish I wouldn't forget to mention anything. (Hmm.. let's test my brain. :P)

Day 1: Oh, it was all for travel. Yup, morning until night time. I swear. At first, I thought the trip would range from 8-10 hours only but surprisingly, it exceeded. Waaaaay beyond. Our butts were burning on our seat and probably, left marks already. It was boriiiiiiiiing.

We left home at around 5:15 in the morning and reached Sogod, Bicol at 8:30 in the evening. Wow. 15 hours. Sweet. SO NOT.

On our way, we had stop-overs, of course. Atleast we weren't sitting on our butts the whoooooole time. Ha. If that were to happen, I would have probably burned my seat. :P Sadly, when we were nearing our destination, heavy rain started to pour. Oh, what a summer! Then, when we stopped over to eat lunch, our driver noticed that our front (left) wheel was flat, probably due to the rocky, unbearable and tough road in Quirino Highway. We passed the other way that's why. The back, I mean. So, we were a bit delayed. We still had a long way to go.. only finished half the trip by then.

Image hosting by TinyPic

Fortunately, after many hours of sleep, I woke up in an unfamiliar, huge lot with a house and a guest room house. Tooooough. Sweeeet. Well, I found out that it was a congressman's house. Wow. And, from there, we were treated like royalty. Anything you want, just ask. Cool. We had dinner and explored the place. It was nice. I was amazed. O__O

Day 2: Raining again. Don't let the weather stop you from having fun.. wait, but what if it already did? Bummer. X__X Suppose to be, we were to go to the foot of the Mayon and visit the resthouse and Planetarium. But due to rainy weather, it was postponed. Instead, we headed to a restaurant, more likely a bar (Hahaha!). If I'm not mistaken, it's called Pahayhayan. Anyway, what do you guys care? :P

Image hosting by TinyPic

After lunch, we proceeded to Tiwi just for merienda. We ate Halo-Halo somewhere (I forgot the name... but it was featured in Inquirer before :P) and it was weird. It had cheese on top. They said that it was the original Bicol style Halo-Halo. How would that baby taste? Well, I had mine without cheese. Yeah. I don't have much gutts to try it, anyway.

We had dinner in Pacific Mall. It was cooooool. You really wouldn't feel like you're in Bicol when you're in the mall. o__O

Day 3: Drizzled. Not rain. Yay! So, we headed to the beach. Their beach was really pure, black sand. It was fun anyway. Sand was smooth just like Boracay, only it's blaaaaaaaack. Woo-hoo. Didn't stay long though since we still had lunch schedule with Tita Rose :P Hahaha.

Tita Rose's house was really nothing but a mansion. Mansion in the midst of the province. Ha. Coooool. Anyway, the food they served was great. I ate a loooooooooooot. As usual. It's nothing new, I guess.

Afterwards, we went to Mt. Mayon already. We went to the foot of it. Then, visited the Planetarium. Amazing. :P It was cold up there, just like Baguio. Fun. So fun.

Image hosting by TinyPic

Next, we visited Cagsawa. Nothing really but the buried church. Seen it before already, but there was no harm in seeing it again. There were just so many stuffs sold there.. that's all I could say. LOL.

Had dinner with Kuya Mark (son of Cong. Lagman) in the house. It was talk, talk, talk for the oldies. Blah, blah. Late at night, we still had Karaoke. We were sooooo noisy. I swear. :P Pero, it was fun singing our hearts out. I mean, it doesn't matter if we were all out of tune, no one could sing that good among us anyway. Hahaha.

Day 4: Go home day. Left early morning. Trip was boring. Blah, blah, blah. Burned the seat, left a mark again. Naaaah, just kidding. I was just so eager to go home and sleep on my bed.
