Little Updates

We have a game on Saturday. I still don't know if I'm coming or not. It's a Festival, I think. In Ateneo, this time. LOL.

My cut's kind of okay now. I'll resume training tomorrow. :) I won't have it stitched anymore. I didn't even go to the doctor to have it checked. =))

[Edit]
I made a new skin. :)

Update, Update

Okay. I'm so lazy to update. So, forgive me, my dear readers, for blabbing nonsense topics.

Saturday. Angel, me and some HEdCen varsity players joined the PFF-GTZ All Women's Football Festival in Marikina Sports Complex. It's actually my first time to join and it was really a great experience. We really played under Mr. Sun. Obviously, it was so hot. It felt as if I was being roasted in the middle of the field. LOL. But yeah, it was severely hot. Skin-burning hot. We competed against different schools-- Poveda, Miriam, Rizal, Muntinlupa, DLSU, AFC, Masbate, San Beda, CSA (did I miss anything?). It was a bit freaky because I'm not really a professional in soccer and it seems that all those who joined are well-trained and known players. We won against 2 schools (but I don't remember) and the other 2 were a tie. We got in the finals and won against DLSU. It was a great relief. I didn't really contribute a lot though. I mean, what do you expect.. I'm only a beginner. LOL. I only wait for our coach to call my name and substitute for someone, just for a while. So yeah, we were the Champions. And it was a great experience.

Sunday. My family (except for Dad since he had a race) went to Shang to buy school supplies. Did just a teeny-weeny bit of shopping and went home. (Wow. That was quick.)

Monday. As usual, I went to HEdCen for soccer training and sadly, I slid (I think). So now, I've got a big, awful, nasty cut. Gaaaaah. Curse my balance. Sheesh. Yeah, it was waaaay more than freaky. Mom's actually planning to bring me to the doctor soon and have it checked because it might need stitching or god knows what else. Actually, Mom hasn't seen my nasty cut yet and I'm not planning on letting her see it. I mean, all she'll do is talk, and talk, and talk and probably she'll get mad at me for having this cut. Ahhhh. I don't know. But going to the doctor and having it stitched gives me the creeps. Oh please, I hope they wouldn't do that.

**No footnotes for today. LOL

Getting a Tan Without Hitting the Beach

Er. I have bad tan lines. Soccer is to blame. Anyway, I'm still having fun though so there is nothing much to worry about.. well, only the weird pattern of my skin color. Hiyuup. My t-shirt left a mark somewhere around my neck, then the strap of my shinguards and also my socks. Eek. Terrible, terrible tan lines. I don't know why Mr. Sun is mad at us. We don't even stay past nine in the morning. Gaaah.

So, I got back from Baguio the other day. I don't want to blog about that anymore. Sorry. But yeah, it was fun. I got to hang out with my friend, Julia and also some of our family friends.

Tomorrow, we'll be playing in Marikina. Sportsfest, I think. Ahhhh. I don't know.. I'm scared. Terribly scared. LOL.

Footnotes:
1) It's Taylor Hicks who won American Idol Season 5. He was great, honestly. And I knew even before that he'll win over Katharine McPhee. He has so much energy. LOL. (I was happy since I was able to watch it LIVE in Starworld; thursday morning)
2) My iPod's broken. I don't know how to fix it. LOL. Friggin new gadgets.
3) Schoolyear 06-07 is so near. I haven't started the reading thingy. Oops!

I'll be leaving for Baguio tomorrow. Yeah, the usual yearly trip. We go there atleast once a year because Dad has a job there-- Medical Transcription, I guess. He's one of the head and works hand-in-hand with tito Ludwig. ANYWAY. We'll be leaving a little later this time-- 7am. So, that means I'll be waking up at 6 to take a bath, get ready and do last-minute packing. We'll be going with Dad's friends and be staying that Green Valley: VIP VILLAS.

Image and video hosting by TinyPicLast night, we watched Poseidon. Oh, just the regular movie with boat sinking and some people surviving. Not really great, but I guess it's good enough. Dad said that they might have derived it from an old movie entitled The Poseidon Adventure. You may search about it if you like.

Anyway, I'll be missing three sessions of soccer training. Boo-hoo. It sucks, I know. :'(

Gimmik with EDCS

Yesterday
Finally, after almost a year, Efgee, Stacey, Camille and I had the chance to hang out-- this time in Shangri-la since the two dance divas (Stacey and Camille) are attending Trumpets there.

I picked up Efgee some time past two and then we proceeded to Shang right away. It was traffic but we were still early. The two dance divas weren't dismissed yet. So, we went around for a while, bought ice cream in FIC and walked, and walked, and walked. We browsed through a lot of stores; walked to and fro. LOL. Fortunately, after a while, the divas showed up and we stopped there right in front of Toby's and talked for a really short while. Then, we started the fun.

We got into a lot of stores; we looked almost everywhere; we went up and down the escalator a looooot of times. Finally, we settled in Plains & Prints and that's where we got clothes. Well, 1 each since we were running low on cash. LOL.

My favorite part there was when were all in the fitting room; all 4 of us. Camille was the funniest then because.. nevermind. You wouldn't get it, anyway.

After buying, we went up a floor to eat in SumoSam. We spent quite a while there since we were second on the waiting list. When it was our turn to sit and eat, I felt quite funny. We were the only young barkada eating alone there. LOL.

ANYWAY. After eating, we still went around a bit. After all that walking, we only bought a shirt each. I was actually planning on spending all the money I had left since we only had 20-30 mins left then. But we were too late, Rustans and the other stores (except for some) were closing already. Boo-hoo.

It was Camille who left first. Then, the three of us went up to the 6th floor (Powerbooks) to meet our parents who were waiting for us. Well, Efgee still rode with me back home. :)

Obviously, there's only one word to describe the feeling I had when I was with my friends yesterday: fantastic. I really wish we could all go out another time. It's fun seeing them. It was sooooo much fun. I just couldn't say how jumpy I was.

Today
Of course, early morning was for soccer. Actually, I was thinking twice about going or not since I was quite jetlag (sp?) from last night's event. But concluding that I'll be absent for three days (next week), I decided not to miss it.

Today, Coach Raffy was assigned to us. He let us bring rubber shoes because we were to sprint uphill. Ha. Tiring. And, we did it for 10 times. Shoot. And, take note, he wanted sprinting NOT jogging. Ahhh. I was panting real loud after all that. LOL.

After a while, we did some drills (as usual). Then, we had the game afterwards. First game was to hit the cones. There were two cones to guard and two cones to hit for each team. Ah. It was freaky. Hit the cones? LOL. Now that's what you call challenging.

Afterwards, we had the whole field to ourselves. Shoot. Running and blocking the ball was quite difficult. Argh. It's hard to control the ball when the others are trying to tackle it. Sheesh.

As of now, I have two bruises on my left and right legs and two scratches on the leg too and one on the arm. Ahhhh. I got dark and my shinguard (sp?) left marks. Ahhh. So, basically, the color of my skin is not even. Ha. Imagine how funny I look with those marks.

After soccer, it's Kumon. Then, in the afternoon, music lessons (voice and piano). Ha. I don't have a voice anymore. Just a little bit more then it'll need recharging.

Footnotes:
1) I wasn't able to watch American Idol last night. Boo-hoo. But I found out that it was Eliott who was sent home. (Er, I thought it was Katharine who's going on third place. LOL.) But surely, it's Taylor who's going to win. Obviously. I mean, everyone just loves him. He has so many fans. He's so energetic and Simon simply likes him. So, it's Taylor for this season, I guess.
2) I'm quite into reading Time Magazine these days. I don't know. I just got hooked with it since my grandmother has subscription to the said magazine. It's not really that entertaining but I don't know what catches my attention. Weird.
3) I found out that The Da Vinci Code was rated R. Shoot. People are really too concerned these days. I mean, the book says that it's fictional. Grr. Anyway, there are pirated dvd's to save us, right? *claps*
4) My music lessons might be extended for another hour. Shoot. My schedule is hectic. It's going to be three hours this time. Err.
5) Congratulations to those Filipinos who conquered Mt. Everest. LOL. There are 3 already, I think. Anyway, I bet there's a whole lot more to come.
6) Belated Happy Birthday Kathia. LOL. I just found that out from Angel.
7) Pictures from last night's event are with Stacey. Well, most of them. Stacey, copy please. Haha.
8) I've got colds and it sucks. Phff.

Yesterday, we went to Sta. Lucia because Mom would like to get her card there. So, we rushed to the department store to get the card and upon entering it, we found a stroller bag (from Hawkgear) which we both know that Lexi would like since it was purple and pink. After Mom retrieved her card from the customer service, we got near the bags Hawkgear sells. Unfortunately, there was a rack full of bags that fell at my back and it hit me (somewhere in my waist). It left a big red mark and after a while it started bleeding. So, Mom went to the customer service (again) and complained about what happened. So, the manager, the guard and another staff approached us and they lead us (mom and me) to the clinic. I was treated there. They put plaster though because it was quite a big scratch. ANYWAY. When we were about to go out of the clinic, two people approached us and introduced themselves as a representative of Hawkgear. Unknowingly, the news kind of spread too fast. Well, that's between the customer service staff, its manager and the hawkgear staff and its manager and of course us. My Mom talked to the manager of the said brand and just because of what happened she offered us a 25% discount on all items we would buy from Hawkgear (only valid for that particular day). Turns out that we saved a thousand bucks because of the discount. LOL.

Moral of my experience: Do it again for more discounts but this time, hit a REALLY popular brand/store.. perhaps, mango or terranova. LOL.

Afterwards, we went to Profile Dental in Big R because I was to get an Xray, photograph (of my pretty teeth :P), and a model of my teeth because I'll soon have braces. But after what happened yesterday (they inserted mirrors inside my mouth and it hurt.. BIG TIME), I'm thinking of prolonging it. But mom insisted that I get it before school or atleast some time late June. Ahhh. I don't know. I'm not really that ready yet. I don't want my teeth to be pulled out on purpose.

Image and video hosting by TinyPicToday, we watched MI:III. Atlast. :) It was fun and thrilling. A really, really great movie. But I got messed up in the last part, the ending. I didn't quite understand it. It was somehow unclear to me. I don't know if I wasn't just paying attention or what.. LOL. But yeah, overall, it was great. So GREAT. Ayluveet.

Footnotes:
1) I must watch Poseidon. You heard it right.. MUST.
2) I just realized that it's almost June. It's almost the start of the schoolyear.
3) Oops. I don't have school supplies yet. Eek.
4) It's American Idol already. Bye. LOL.

Blurrrr

As Dad was saying, my schedules pretty tight lately-- it's like as if a schoolday schedule. I wake up (very) early at 5:30 in the morning and I leave the house at 6:15 (for soccer training); then, I attend Kumon afterwards, some time past nine; and in the afternoon, I have music lessons and god knows what else I would still like to fit in. But frankly, I'm having fun. Atleast this time, I get to choose what I'd like to do. I mean (in school), you don't get this much freedom-- you're not the one who's choosing your subjects, your teachers, your schedule; most of the timeyou definitely have to ride on with your "given" schedule even though, in your opinion, it sucks, right? Anyway, what I'm trying to say is, even though I'm tied up lately, I'm still loving it; and all these activities serve as my preparation for this coming schoolyear-- only one month left. *screams for HELP*

Believe it or not, I haven't started reading for this Summer Reading Program in school. As in, none-- nada. Well yeah, I tried to read To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee but it's too much of a classic type for me. But don't worry, as we come nearer to the start of the schoolyear, I'll be forced to hold that book with both of my hands, read it, and understand fully. Time will come.. the right time will come. Then, there's still Romeo and Juliet and Without Seeing the Dawn. Frankly, this whole "you-must-read-these-books-for-this-schoolyear-for-it-is-required" is driving me nuts. Yet, I really have to start reading or I will have to cram BIG TIME again.

Image and video hosting by TinyPicYesterday afternoon, we watched The Benchwarmers. Not in the cinemas but in my all time favorite-- pirated DVDs. LOL. I knooooow, it's stealing. ANYWAY. We watched it in the basement while people started renovating our living room. (Gaaaah. Can you just imagine how much my ears are suffering from all the drilling and hammering going on around the house; oh and don't forget dusty (very dusty) atmosphere. Eek.) Going on, I can say that the movie didn't appeal to me much. Hmm. It wasn't that nice nor was it that boring. Just a typical "oh-okay" movie. It didn't have that much impact though. Funny? Yeah. But it's not that entertaining. A bit more for adults because of the language (well, only in some teeny-weeny parts). But anyway, atleast I had something to do rather thanbore myself to.. sleep? LOL.

Footnotes:
1) Soccer training was craaazy today, but nonetheless, it was still fun.
2) I did 5 Kumon worksheets today: four 5-page math homeworks and one 10-page-good-for-an-hour-or-thirty-minutes reading homework. Ahh. Imagine how tired my brain is. I can just feel it gasping for air. LOL
3) I confess to all of you that I can't diet. I can't even survive a day without sweets. Shoot.
4) It was mother's day yesterday and I was amazed that I still made my very own card for mom-- with my own hands.
5) I'm tired and my brain is soooooo tired. Gaaah. I need to rest.

Fun Under the Rain

Despite the rainy weather during early morning, our soccer training wasn't disturbed at all. Even though my legs felt somehow paralyzed (I hardly could walk the natural way), I still went on with it because Coach Bernard said that it was normal since your muscles are developing.

Well, we did the usual things today. Drills before game. We focused more on "fake shots" though and I'm not any good at it at all. Gah. I still have to master a LOT. Then we also did this high kick, jumping from one ball to another and then doing the zig-zag-sprint kind of thing. Whew.

Afterwards, we played the game. Coach Bernard was so unfair. He counted himself as one of our team's opponent. Gah. And sad to say, my teammates were mostly kids (except for Mika). But yeah, they're good. Atleast Roby is. He's better than me. Waaay better. Ahhhh. Don't ask what the score is. Angel and Sam: BABAWI RIN AKO! LOL.

But yeah, despite the score, we all had fun. Had fun in the mud. Fortunately, I didn't slip but I got messed up (physically, that is). My shorts were sooooooo wet and my shirt too; my socks were muddy and my shoes were like chocolates; my knee and my legs were muddy since, instead of heading, I just let the high ball hit my leg. Eww. That's for defense atleast.

It only drizzled at first. But not long, the rain started to pour harder. Gaaah. So we had to leave the field. Awww.

When we were about to change, I remembered that I forgot to pack my slippers. Ahhhhh. So, I was really quite pissed because letting the mud dry on your skin feels icky. ANYWAY. I found another way to solve it. Good thing, Mom came just in time to pick us up. This time, she came on time. :)

Footnotes:
1) I made another layout. Gah. I can't help it, I was bored.
2) It's fun to play in the rain; I'm starting to love soccer because of this.
3) For the meantime, the sun wouldn't hurt my skin. Bye-bye sun; Hello storm. LOL.
4) I ate too much today. I gained weight. I swear. I finished the whole pack of Hershey's Nuggets (in ONE sitting). Ahhhhhhh. I really have to stop buying sweets. Well, atleast tell Mom to stop allowing me to buy sweets.
5)We were in Greenhills yesterday (Promenade). We ate at Arya, a Persian restaurant and I somehow liked the food there. Well, yeah, it was different, but it was good. :)

Coach, team kami ni ate ha?

So, I've officially started soccer training. Gaaah. It's waaaay harder than I thought. The ball is so.. scary. Volly kick sucks. I mean, you don't expect me to do heading, right?

Anyway, I started Monday and I was just too tired (and lazy) to blog about it. First day of training was miserable. I couldn't control the ball. As in. It flew elsewhere. Funny. SO NOT.

So far, what I can say is that.. my whole body hurts like hell after training (particularly my legs, it feels as if it's somewhat paralyzed). But, knowing that it burns fats, it's worth it for me. I'm too shallow, ain't I? Anyway, we started playing a while ago. Under the heat of the sun.

Hm. Summer's about to end but it seems as if it's just started for me. It's only now that my schedule's jampacked. Late, I know.

* * * * *

Monday-Friday : (630-900am) Soccer
T-Th-S: (600-800pm) Badminton
M-W-F: (200-400pm) Music Lessons (Voice and Piano)
Sunday: FREE DAY! :)

* * * * *

Footnotes:
1) We went to SM (Monday) and ate at Dad's. Gahh.. Buffet drives me crazy.
2) Dad got me new speakers for my computer. (I don't think you guys care though. LOL)
3) The whole house is going to be somewhat renovated. Ahhhh. Here comes the noisy machines.
4) I just dropped my phone. Luckily, it still works. :)
5) Happy Birthday to Ethan and Denise

Shake.Stretch.Flex

If you guys have watched Aquamarine, you'll know what I'm talking about.

Shake. Stretch. Flex. :)

Last night, we went to Eastwood to (supposedly) watch Mission Impossible: III. Unfortunately, they ran out of tickets. Gaaah. Can you believe it?? So, what happened was that we watched Aquamarine instead. At first, I thought it would be just a regular, friendship kind of movie, but as to how it turns out, I had loads of fun. Surprisingly, it wasn't all serious and corny, it was comedy. Pure, hardcore comedy.

My favorite character in the movie were the starfishes. They listen, they talk, and what's best they compliment you when you wear 'em. Sweet :)

Anyway, I don't want to give a too detailed description of the movie. I might end up telling you guys the whoooole story. You know me, once I've started doing something, it's hard to stop. All I can say it, It's fun; the movie's a must-watch. (Well, that's from my own point of view though, I don't know what's yours..)

*****

If you guys are looking for great bargains and are into adidas so much, I've heard that they've got a warehouse somewhere in Manggahan (I think). The shoes there are only about P850 and are ORIGINAL. It's just not that new. The style's about a year ago though. But I mean, there's a big difference. Sooooo big. In the mall, it's like 3000+ and in the warehouse, it about 850 only. See the big difference and how much you can save? Again, I repeat, it's original. The staff there wear "adidas" shirts and if it was fake, it should have been raided, right?

So, yeah, my parents went there last Friday and got 5 pair of shoes. One for Mommy, two for Daddy and 2 for me. Unfortunately, they ran out of sizes though so if you want to get new adidas, hurry up!:)

Of Body Dysmorphic Disorder and Being Contented

Late in the afternoon, I watched tv and while grazing, I found out that Oprah was on Star World. So, of course, being an oprah fanatic I didn't miss the opportunity of tuning in her show. Surprisingly, they were featuring young people (not really as young as teenagers though, but 28 is still young, isn't it?) with a very bad obsessive-compulsive behavior or what they simply call body dysmorphic disorder. This so- called addiction made me tinker for while. Why? Simply because a man answered that he spends 5 hours straight in the washroom and whenever he's at work, he finds excuses just to see himself in the mirror very so often. I don't know what you can call these guys but really, it's more than just vanity. Imagine staying in the washroom for 5 hours (I can't even last for an hour and half in there!) and brushing your teeth for an hour! My gaaad. Your teeth would probably be as white as the clouds. And, after all these long hours of staying in the bathroom, the man still thinks that he looks like a monster. And this, I believe, is foolishnesss. I mean, he's not really that awful-looking person; he doesn't even look like a drunkard; only he looks gay and talks like one too. I'm soooorry. Anyway. They also featured a woman addicted to all these boobjob-noselift kind of thing. Eww. Surgery. Honestly, she looked better (waaaaay better) before than what she looks like now. No offense, but after 26 surgeries, (my gaaaad!) she looks like a (how can I say this) ..monkey. Really. Her lips are like, uh.. nevermind. I just don't like people who are so into these things. They're not really in their right mind. Totally out of control. Ahh.

Anyway, this show led me to thinking that I should be contented with myself. Hey, hey.. not that I'm wanting to have whatever surgery thing that's in your mind right now, it's just that I often put myself down. (Now, I'm saying all this, uh? It slips easily though. And yeah, I admit. I underestimate myself most of the time-- in all different aspects). Well, the show proves it all. I shouldn't go and put myself down nor should I let others put me down. I'm not as bad as I think I am. Hopefully. All hail, Oprah.

*Deep sigh*

Footnotes:
1) The song here's entitled Big Yellow Taxi by Counting Crows. I just simply love this song. 2) Mom got my Oakley board shorts, but she gave me a billabong one (it's pink and brown, yey)
3) Got our tv for the basement. It's only flat screen but not plasma; 29-inches.. it'll do.
4) Dad gave me a book to study for scuba diving this morning. I haven't read any yet, only flipped the pages and browsed.
5) I worked out for an hour. Yey! Atleast I got to burn some fats.

Under Parental Supervision

I believe it isn't only Kara who's undergoing this sort of thing. Believe it or not, I am too. I am TOTALLY under my parents control. But mine.. it isn't regarding this blog or whatsoever personal thoughts or problems I have, it's about my FREEDOM.

Mom and I had some serious talk last night. And I mean it this time. We were too serious. The issue? Soccer. She asked me if I'm willing to learn and go through all that I have to undergo-- including the hardships. Of course, I agreed. I'm into trying out new stuffs. But what I noticed is that she kept on blabbing about the "disadvantages" of the said sport. She stated that there were more possibilities of me getting hurt by a ball and I would have scars every now and then. This was what she kept on telling me. If I'm not mistaken, she told me about it thrice during her sermon. But on the other hand, she also told me that if I try soccer, it shouldn't be my main sport. She only allowed me to learn but not to be competitive in it. What she wants me to focus on is badminton. And her deal was tough: If I love soccer more than I love badminton, I'll be grounded for god knows until when. But just for the sake of learning and trying out soccer, I gave in the deal. If I didn't, I probably wouldn't be given the permission to try it out. Obviously. Gaaad, I really have one, tough Momma!

Anyway, we're both okay now. She was just really forceful last night. I was a bit pissed about it though. Because, even without her telling me, I can see from her facial expressions that she doesn't want me to go training in another sport except for badminton.

Well, let's not get through the very detail of it anymore. It's in the past, and we're okay. I'm just thankful that she allowed me to atleast try.

Footnotes:
1) I might not be watching The Sentinel in the theater because Dad wants to see MI:III first. Eek.
2) I'm bankrupt now. All my wallet has is a piece of a thousand bucks and coins. Phff.
3) I'm feeling scared for first year. I can't wait to see my friends though.
4) Angel and I were together in Kumon a while ago. Yeah, we were talking while doing our work.
5) I feel like I'm always hungry. Fatty-fatty. ;)

The Curse of High Technology and Internet

My computer's been attacked again. This time by all those popping windows-- they pop out of nowhere. Curse 'em. They piss me off like hell.

Last night, we stayed up until 1am due to our visitors. My Dad's family friends dropped by our house because they were joining this some kind of Alay Lakad. They walk to and fro the whole day. My gaaad. How devoted they are! I mean, honestly, I couldn't walk for a whole day-- most of the time it even takes 20 hours. Gee. Honestly, I stayed up for the food. Mom didn't cook baked macaroni until 11pm. I waited patiently while watching Oprah-- which was, I believe, just a replay because that time they were still launching the movie, Walk the Line (which, by the way, I haven't finished watching yet; half-way through, though). But yeah, I adore Reese Witherspoon there. She was great. I fell in love with the film.

Anyway, I couldn't stay long though. I still have voice and piano lessons in an hour.

Footnotes:
1) I can't wait to watch The Sentinel. It's my DUTY to watch it. Hopefully, I'll hit the cinema.
2) The Wild is showing. I'm not really that into it because the trailer didn't seem to get my attention. It kind of resembles Madagascar. Although, for sure, Madagascar's better. Waaay better.
3) Aquamarine and MI:III will be out on May 3. Gaaad. I'm just so restless with all these lovely movies.

Later ;)

Headline: Super Kara Attacked By One Day Illness.

I've been browsing through my blog and noticed that I was typing like a lazy ass. Most of the time I write about things which, frankly, doesn't make sense. And, I don't know, I'm wasting time and my energy in typing. Obviously, for the next few weeks, you (yes, you!) will notice a gradual change in my writing. It's just getting worse, and worse, and worse. I know. I couldn't even provide a title for this post. Gah.

Anyway, cut off the drama. I'm just.. emotional today-- which is OBVIOUSLY not a problem. These moodswings tend to bother me lately. It's normal. I'm probably due. Due with the you-know-what. LOL.

I believe I forgot to tell you guys that our house-- actually our basement-- is being renovated. They started about 2 weeks ago and now, it's totally awesome. It hardly looks like the basement where I used to throw in my old and abandoned toys. It's transformed. So, anyway, I've been dealing with the noise lately. Good thing, they were done with the drilling and all those machines. Now, the only thing that bothers me is the smell of paint. I used to love its smell though-- when I was a kid.

Anyway, Mom was the one who checked on our things-- whether they'll be donated or can still be reused by us. She kept on bringing our old stuffs upstairs and that didn't stop me from grabbing all the things I used to have. I found some of our old school stuffs-- particularly, projects and the clear folders. My gaaad. If you were just there, most likely, you'll laugh your heart out with the nonsense information I write. Frankly, I was so corny back then. And maybe, if I didn't improve on my writing skills and didn't control my laziness, I probably wouldn't have graduated. Honestly. When I was in 5th grade, I used to write like a 2nd grader. My gaaad. Just imagine my poor vocabulary in English. And yeah, what more for Filipino! If I'm not mistaken, the worst subjects for me then were Filipino and AP (Social Studies). Believe it or not, I used to fail-- specially in AP. I used to go home with my knees trembling, and had nothing to say whenever test results where given out. Oh, just imagine how I got pass 5th grade. The worst year in elementary.

Wait, I think that went on too far. We were just talking about the basement, right. Uh. Nevermind.

Lately, I've been tuning on to Myx. I'm so late when it comes to OPM. Shiat. What happened to me being Filipino at heart? I used to love OPM before, but now I'm more into international bands and artists. Gaaaaad. What's wrooooooong?

...ANYWAYS...

Yesterday, I woke up with a very terrible headache. It felt like as if I'm going to break it if I move. I got up though because my tummy was grumbling and it hurts like hell, too. But I still walked to the dining to eat breakfast. When Mom got up, I told her that I feel sick and she put her hand on my forehead and neck, and said that I wasn't just feeling sick, but also was REALLY sick. Instantly, I got my temperature and --poof!-- a 37.9 Honestly, I was in the verge of crying because I don't want to get back to the hospital anymore. My experience there was awful. The only fun part was that I didn't have to go to school for one whole week. Sadly, the consequence was that I missed a lot (specially in AP) so I had a hard time taking tests. Anyway, I convinced myself that I wasn't going back there; that I wasn't sick; and that, if ever (I'm sick), I'll get well soon-- real soon. Surprisingly, I got back to a regular temperature at around dinnertime. I gave a great relief. Obviously, my sickness wasn't getting any worse. Only, my parents wanted to know what caused that 'mysterious' one-day-sickness of mine. Hmmm..

Foot notes:
1) I changed my skin. AGAIN. For the nth time. Suhree. Was just sooooo bored.
2) I'm addicted to "THE SIMS 2: OPEN FOR BUSINESS" again because I can't do anything else and I wasn't in the mood to go online.
3) While Ate Rochel was cleaning the basement (with Mom), I saw my almost-a-dozen collection of barbie dolls with half of them without heads. I just remembered that I used to brush their hair and pulled it if ever there were tangles and most of the time, the head would come off. (Ah. What a bad kid I was! I knoooooow.)
4) I love Myx.
5) I find Jeepney by Kala funny. (If you just read the lyrics, you'll get what I mean. But yeah, it's cute though)
6) It's the end of April. One month to go before summer ends. So sad. X(
7) (Continuation..) That means, I'll also have to read the books required for this Summer Reading Program in school. Gaaaaad.
8) The Sentinel is showing. I have to watch it. I just have to. WHY? Well, obviously, Eva Longoria's there.
9) I just found out that Dad will be getting new speakers for my computer-- I requested for a black-colored one to match the monitor, keyboard, mouse and CPU. YEY!
10) It's May 1 tomorrow-- better count the days left and start reading. Oh yeah, it's also Labor Day.

G'night.
