We Want Mooooore!

The PCD Concert was sizzling hot. It was definitely worth it. I had fun watching.

Well, it started at around 8:15 (or was that 8:30) and of course, there were still performances from various quite unknown artists (atleast to me they are.. except for Sway that is who was part of the recent season of AI)-- there were about three of them: the first one crowned himself as the very first half-Filipino on Canadian Idol which he said resembles AI, only it's not being aired here that's why he still remained anonymous to some most; the second guest was a black, half-Filipino (again) and I don't know much about him but he sang So Sick very well which surely made the crowd sing with him and he gave free copies of his album; the third one is Sway from AI (half-Fil), he's quite small (obviously) and his bald head makes him look more funnier but hey, don't get me wrong, he's quite good only not as skilled as the singers we know. After these three performances which kind of ate up time, the MC's (courtesy of 89.9) still did their job-- interacting with people and mentioning their sponsors. Afterwards, the big event took place. The PCD are hottttt!

Nicole, who is half-filipino by the way, got teary-eyed while singing Stickwitu. Awww. She was probably touched.

Their performance wasn't that long though. They just mixed their songs but it was really nice. So coooooool. And the showdown part was definitely made the crowd go wild. Literally. And when they got the lucky six audience, they made them show what they got. The gay person really was giving his all. I liked him-- I mean, the way he danced in front of hundreds of people; he was just so confident.

The last song they performed was Dont Cha. And after they said their goodnight and goodbye's and exited the stage, the people started saying We want more! We want more! But nothing happened after that. LOL. Too much for being a fanatic! ANYWAY. Seeing that there were no more performances to follow up, the people then flooded the exit doors. Awwww :-'(

Moreover, it is one of the best concerts I've watched. I liked it. And until now, their performance is still flashing in my mind. I loooooooved it so much. Loved it to death. I just hope they do it again probably after they finish their second album-- hopefully.

School Issues:
1. My, oh, my. PE Practical Test is on Monday and we still haven't finalized our steps. Good thing this subject's after lunch. *sigh* Atleast there time to cram. Oh meeeehn.

2. We have this project in AP which is also integrated with Filipino. Good news is that we'll only have one project for these 2 subjects, bad news is we haven't started anything yet. I'm not creative when it comes to writing stories. Frankly, I suck at it. And considering the fact that these two subjects is what I dislike the most, I don't have any interest at all.

3. IP proposal is due on Monday. Darn. Finalize, Finalize. We lack time. Uh..

P.S. Wait, sabi ni Arisse meron daw encore. Gaaaaahd. Nakakainis naman, oh! Buti pa siya nakapanood:) Ohhh well..

Tomorrow's Gig and My Frantic Schedule

Guess what? Mom just got us tickets for the PCD Concert. I wasn't actually planning to watch it but I've got tickets anyway so why waste it? Anyone else coming? :) Tara, sabay tayo!

Monday and Tuesday, we didn't have school and it felt like heaven. I mean, not having to think about anything school-related is great. Nothing to worry about. Just what I was in dire need of.

Monday. I was out-- in SM to be particular-- shopping with my family. I know, I didn't watch the president's SONA. But I read her whole speech on the net.. is that good enough? Afterall, I also had an AP report due that time.

Tuesday. I played SIMS NIGHTLIFE the whooooooole day. I'm soooo addicted!:P

Woah. A week ago since my last post, uh? Terrible. Reason? I'm trying to concentrate more on my studies this time and it simply means, serious work. And, you know how lazy I can get sometimes, so this is kind of a challenge for me. Honestly. It's sacrifice and hardwork.

Anyway, since I do not remember the particular order of which events occured this week, I might as well just give you a rough rundown.

First thing's first, I'm in SOCCER club now. Finally, I have decided ;) You know, it's kind of hard actually. I mean, deciding between two things you love. If it was just possible to have two clubs at a time, I'd probably not give up badminton. Er, anyway.. that's how it ended and soccer is my final choice (although I haven't really talked about my immediate disappearance in badminton today ;p). Second, I attended mass yesterday. Wala lang, I just wanted to share ;) Okay?;) Fine.. there's a story behind it. :P Third, we had a mass today for the Induction of Officers. Fourth, we were flooded by quizzes all week specially in Science but here's good news: my grade in the quiz will HOPEFULLY pull up my dreadful grade in my Science UT. Can't blame me. The others also got that not-really-nice-but-atleast-not-failed grade. Might as well be satisfied.

Today, I was actually planning to go with my mom since she was meeting with her highschool friends and my Tita Jo-anne from Norweigh is here for vacation. Darn, I should have gone with her because now I feel like I don't have social life. Sheesh. Sounds pathetic? But it's true. All these schoolwork is making me nerdy.. making me focus on nothing else but school. Miserable. Ate Michelle aka Kuya Michael (I guess you know what the ate AKA kuya means.. I don't need to bring in much details) texted me and asked why I wasn't there. *sigh* I really, really should have gone there rather than strain my eyes here in front of the computer. Ughhhhhhhh...

Oh yeah, Dad got my sisters a copy of HSM. Well, I'm not really addicted to it. Honestly, I got quite confused in the ending. What I really liked were their songs. Their songs are great. ;) My two sisters have watched it for I-don't-know-how-many-times-already. Freaaaaaaaaaaky. And get this, they've memorized lots of lines from the movie which they recite every single day. So, my ears are quite tired of hearing the same lines again and again. Sorrrrrrry ;)

Well, well, my eyes are sleepy and I'm tired. My body's hungry for rests and my brain's sort of drained. I've got to recharge ;) KUMON is driving me nuts. (According to Tania, whoever created Kumon is soooo dead. Which if taken literally is so true. He is soooo dead ;P)

There were, basically, 2 events which I consider as the highlights for the day. Let's just say that they wereYESTERDAY's highlights :P

First major thing: clubs. I didn't expect that I'll pass both the Soccer and Badminton Tryouts. So now, I'm stuck in choosing between the two for my final choice. I did attend badminton yesterday (during club time) frankly because I didn't have the appropriate soccer attire. C'mon.. I only knew about it that same day: Friday; and I was assuming that there's really less chance of me getting in that Soccer club since I'm just a starter. (Okay, okay.. I'm not going to underestimate myself.. AGAIN:P) ANYWAY. Now, I'm feeling mixed up since 50% of me likes soccer and the other 50% cheers for badminton. Obviously, I'm stuck in the middle. MIDDLE. Anything more dreadful than that? I mean, I love them boooooth. I don't know which to choose and which to let go. Well, Denise told me that my slot in Soccer is still available. (HOPEFULLY!) But if I choose it, how will I tell the teacher about the situation-- this situation. C'mon.. even I can hardly understand what I'm trying to say. I just seem to go round and round with what I'm trying to emphasize: my point. Gaaaah. Let's stop this. My mind's mixed up.

Second major thing: Leadership Training. Very tiring but it was okay, I guess. I liked the "Survivor of the Officers" Game. There were a looooot of stations which we missed though :) But what was good about it is that it tested both physical and mental capabilities. We ran up and down the stairs of the highschool building; moving from all the way over here to all the way over there. Killeeeeer, I know. Anyhow, I was with Angge, Mara and Liang. We slept together but that doesn't mean we only have one sleeping bag. :P We didn't sleep right away though, we talked about a loooooot of things before we decided to retire for the daaaay. Sobrang dami naming napagkwentuhan. Swear :P Kung saan-saan na umaabot yung topic namin.

So, right now, I'm kind of very sleepy. I wasn't able to take a nap in the afternoon. Well yeah, I was able to take a rest, though for about 15 minutes only. Just imagine how tired I look right now.. I feel like some corpse who just got up from her coffin minutes ago. And get this, we even played badminton with our grandparents this afternoon. I'm really, really going to break down. I just feel it:)

This morning, I was awakened by my little sister who was whispering in my ear, "ate, may airplane na nag-"crash". And by the third time she said it, I got up and simply asked her where. She escorted me to the outside of the house, somewhere in the terrace, and pointed at her paper airplane which was lying on top of our neighbor's roof. I couldn't imagine how silly I was having to fall for her joke. But honestly, she looked kind of serious, and was somehow dying to retrieve her own paper airplane. I guess it was of much value to her because she was the one who made it without any help from anyone. I feel sad for her paper airplane which so, so drenched with water by now. :) Seriously.

ANYWAY. Yesterday was supeeeeeer. Classes were suspended. Ha, I knew it. I already knew it by the moment I woke up that morning due to heavy, heavy rain (only Mom wasn't on my side). So there, we still went to school. I arrived at ten to seven and while Kathia and I were walking towards the HS building, we noticed that the corridors were soooo wet-- there were puddles of water elsewhere. According to our CA, it should have been really suspended but we were all still waiting for that announcement. The weather was really, really bad. And Ms. Santiago was saying that we should pray the chaplet-- and in my head, I was trying to complete it by adding "for suspension." How evil, uh? But come to think of it.. if classes were cancelled, then those children in public schools could go home (that is, if they have one). I really feel bad for those who are homeless. I don't know why they have to suffer much. Anyway, moving on.. we were only informed about the suspension at around 11:15. And the moment my classmates heard it, they started screaming and jumping and screaming and jumping as if there was no teacher around. Yes, it was a time to rejoice because our Filipino class was cut. Oh yeah! Oops.. did I say that out loud? :P

Actually, we were suppose to have our Math test that afternoon, but since classes were suspended, it was re-scheduled. Supposed to be, TODAY. But guess what? No classes again. How fun! :) I'm so bored though.

What's bad behind all these suspension of classes is that we miss a lot. Maybe, there's even a possibility that we go to school on a Saturday just to make up for all those we missed; or if not, the teachers would try to fit as much lessons in a day. Ha, that's terrible. Just terrible.

There are actually rumors spreading regarding the No classes thing again for tomorrow. I'm not yet that sure about it though. Anyhow, it will be so cool being able to have 4 days of rest. 4 days of rest from the terrors of school. But then again, we'll be missing a lot. And yeah, if ever the information being spread is true, what about the leadership training? :)

Footnotes:
1) I changed my layout. I just got it from blogskins. I'll take a rest first. In making layouts, that is.
2) I also edited the "links" section. If you want to be linked, tell me through the tagboard. :) Don't worry, I won't bite.

I don't really know the exact things I want to talk about. I'm really clueless this time. My life seems to revolve in just ONE thing: School. I admit, I'm giving most of my attention in my studies this time, but what's weird is that, no matter how much effort I put into all these schoolwork, I never seem to be doing good. I don't know how many times I've already said this, but let me repeat it again, High school is different and is way, way harder; I miss gradeschool. Darn it. My life sucks nowadays. Indeed it is true, time passes by so fast. One time you're enjoying solving basic math equations but now, you're dumped with a whole new lesson which drives you nuts. I'm not really exaggerating but that's just according to my own POV anyway. (I have my right to express my feelings here, right?:P)

Well, let's just cut off the drama. I'm tired of complaining. There's nothing happening anyway. No matter what happens, it's all in the past. *sigh*

ANYWAY. As early as now, we've started our Unit Tests which are deadly in a sense that it kind of squeezed my brain. Take Science for instance; I was actually admiring the way Ms Calayag teaches (take note: the WAY she teaches not.. well, not what you're thinking of :P). I mean, I could understand easily the lessons (except that of the Independent and Dependent Variables which are truly, mind boggling). Surprisingly, I was kind of bothered by the test. It was somehow different from all the words that came out of her mouth while she was lecturing us. Honestly, it was confusing. I mean, even though majority was multiple choice, the best answer is hard to figure out because everything (in the choices) were related. I don't really know if this is how the others found the test but for me, it WAS quite difficult. DEADLY, if you want me to be precise :P

Grrr. It's UT week. It's math for tomorrow. Ugh. I don't really have intentions to study because everytime I study I commit more mistakes. It's just weird.. so weird.

Footnotes:
1) I watched Superman last Saturday. He's sooooo HOTT (all caps, with a double-t :P)
2) We're back to 30-minute recess; though only 50 mins. for lunch; 45 mins. /subject; 20-25mins. for study period. Good enough though (but I really miss last year's schedule).
3) I'm sleepy. All this schoolwork drives me crazy. My head is spinning like hell. :P

I'm just here to update about my birthday party. How precious it was. LOL. But yeah, it was soooo fun.. my friends were so hyper and we swam `til night time and also the following morning.

I can't give that much details though since I still have quite some things to do. School is driving me crazy. I feel like a total nerd having to study every single day. Hmph. Well, I'm quite failing actually. I've had this 6/10 in English and 11/20 in CLE. Mom said it was okay since I'm pretty much under the process of adjusting still. (I just wonder how long this "adjusting" thing would take.) I don't know.. I'm just really stressed out these days. All I talk and worry about is school. Friggin school which drives me craaaaaazy. Phff. ANYWAY. I'm already fourteen and it feels like nothing had happened. No change at all. I wish something good will happen to my wicked, messy life. Hopefully. OH yeah, I also got braces. It's haaaaard. But I eat a lot, nowadays. Atleast I was able to adapt to this quite easily. I wish it is also this easy to adapt to changes in school. Haaaaay.
